By popular demand I have created a ‘Scavenger Hunt assignment appropriate for students in both online, hybrid and in-person classes to introduce students to the features of Blackboard, your syllabus and discussion boards among other things.

The graphic contains  instructions on how to access our Scavenger Hunt assignment in our Lehman Blended Hybrid Workshop, located in your Blackboard under ‘My Organizations’. There you can go to the ‘WORKSHOP SESSIONS’ folder and click on the FIRST SESSION to see the scavenger hunt assignment.

This assignment contains both a worksheet and an accompanying PowerPoint- both for students to use- They view the PowerPoint to get instructions on completing the worksheet and then the completed worksheet is uploaded back to you. It is fully customizable and you can use it for your upcoming spring classes if you choose. My suggestion is to use it in week 1 where you can establish it as a ‘graded’ homework assignment if desired.

It’s designed to facilitate understanding of the online class and to highlight the syllabus and the use of both Lehman email and Bb email in various classroom-like conditions. Feel free to navigate the hybrid workshop blackboard site and provide me with your feedback!
